Korean embassy in Berlin completed

The new embassy of South-Korea was designed by Braun & Schlockermann (Berlin) on the corner of Stülerstraße and Corneliusstraße.

A cantilevered and curved roof is reminiscent of pagoda roofs in Korea. The concrete parts look like wooden constructions. A secondary, patterned screen protects the facade, that is a " modern interpretation of korean design". The straight rythm of the facade is made up of Jura marble and Mooser limestone.
